What it costs 💸
Free events are free, always. On paid tickets Meetsy takes 20% of the ticket price, and card processing is 2.9% + 30¢ per order — the standard card rate, passed through, not marked up.

Getting paid 🏦
Payments run through Stripe, so card details never touch Meetsy. Money from your ticket sales lands in your own bank account. You will be asked for your business and bank details the first time you sell — that is Stripe verifying you, and it is required by law for anyone taking card payments.
Common questions
Can I change things after publishing?
Yes — title, date, location, prices, flyer, everything. Ticket holders are notified automatically if the date or venue changes.
What if I need to cancel?
You can archive an event at any time, which takes it off the site but keeps your data. Refunds are issued through Stripe.
Do I need a business to host?
No. Individuals can host and get paid — Stripe will just verify who you are.
Is there a limit on free events?
No. Free events and RSVPs are unlimited and cost nothing.
